HO COLOR-CORRECT FLUORESCENT LAMPS
Movie-Tone HO lamps are designed to work in Kino-Flo and Flo-Co type fixtures.
These types of fixtures have a higher ballast factor in them and will not drive a standard lamp properly. The milli-amperage of these fixtures is around 1000ma., and standard lamps operate at 430ma. This drives the lamp harder and, in doing so, changes not only the color temperature and brightness, but also causes the life of the lamp to diminish.
Movie-Tone HO versions have an HO cathode that allows them to operate above 800ma., so that you get the proper light, color and life out of the lamp. They are available in 24" and 48" sizes, safety coated, with color-coded end caps, making it easy to choose which lamp to use. All lamps are packed in boxes of 12 and can be drop-shipped to your location.
